Al Amoudi has been appointed as Director of Human Resources at St. Regis Riyadh
Saudi native Sameer Al Amoud has moved up to the most senior role of his career. Al-Amoud starts this month as director of HR at the soon-to-open St. Regis Riyadh. For now, he will be based at the five-star hotel's pre-opening office within Ritz-Carlton Jeddah.
Al-Amoud brings more than a decade of experience to the role. As early as 2012, he was a group recruitment specialist in the HR department for Fairmont and Raffles in Makkah. He later became the HR officer of Raffles Makkah Palace in 2014.
He joined Marriott in 2015 as an HR supervisor joining the pre-opening of Ritz-Carlton Jeddah, later moving up to assistant HR manager and later HR manager. From March 2022 until this month, he was the assistant HR director of the hotel.
