Jinobin Thomas has been appointed as General Manager Restaurants at The Abu Dhabi EDITION
The Abu Dhabi EDITION hotel has hired a general manager for its restaurants. Jinobin Thomas moves to the UAE capital from fellow Marriott property W Dubai - The Palm, where he spent close to four years.
F&&B venues at the hotel include Market, Alba Terrace, OAK Room and Library Bar, all from British chef Tom Aikens. There's also the three-storey Annex venue outside the main building.
Thomas has worked with Marriott since 2012, working as a bartender in his native India. He moved to the UAE in 2014 to be a bartender at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel, staying on for a year before joining The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah as part of a beverage programme task force.
He returned to the JW in Dubai, first as an F&B supervisor for two years before moving up to assistant operations manager of restaurants and bars. He then joined W Dubai - The Palmas assistant venue manager of Akira Back before moving up to venue manager from 2021 to 2022.
