Thibault de Vries has been appointed as General Manager at Andaz Doha
Thibault de Vries steps in as general manager, bringing with him 22 years of experience, the majority of which has been with Hyatt. Spearheading the launch, Thibault is responsible for overseeing the hotel's designs, projects and operations, his duties will be underpinned by a commitment to provide locally-minded experiences.
A long-time Hyatt member with a background in F&B, De Vries previously worked with Park Hyatt Paris Vendome as assistant director of F&B in 2008. From there, he became director of F&B at Hyatt Regency Johannesburg, followed by the same position at Park Hyatt Moscow before moving up to EAM of F&B.
Staying in Russia for several years, he later served Hyatt Regency Sochi as general manager, followed by Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park in the same role before moving to Doha.
Thibault de Vries is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 2005.
