Janine Gerlich has been appointed as General Manager at W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island
Janine Gerlich has been appointed as the new General Manager at W Abu Dhabi - Yas Island. Originally from Germany, she has worked in different locations around the world.
With a passion for the hospitality industry, Gerlich has had several leadership positions at various locations for luxury hotel brands in Miami, Vienna, Nairobi, Muscat, Bahrain and Phuket.
In April 2017, she was appointed as the hotel manager at Four Seasons Vancouver in Canada. From there, she grew into leadership roles at St Regis Mardavall Mallorca as GM and at Fairmont Dubai the Palm as resident manager. Gerlich is always looking to embark on new challenging opportunities and is eager to learn, meet new people, experience different cultures and has a sense of intercultural awareness.
