Six Senses Zighy Bay has appointed Sofija Misljenovic as director of wellbeing, overseeing the holistic wellness offerings at the eco-friendly resort in Oman's Musandam peninsula.
Misljenovic brings more than 15 years of experience working in five-star resort spas in Maldives, Seychelles, Jordan and Abu Dhabi. From developing new spa brands and having a key role in world-class resorts' pre-opening teams to completing a vast array of qualifications in beauty, massage treatments and alternative therapies, she understands the guest experience from start to finish.
In her new role, Misljenovic will oversee operations at the Six Senses Spa, a soul-soothing sanctuary, situated amid date palms and lime bushes where local healing traditions and smart diagnostic technology are found under one roof.
She will also oversee the resort's fitness classes, personalised lifestyle assessments, full-day wellness programmes and breathwork and meditation sessions, as well as managing the extensive calendar of visiting experts, doctors, and practitioners.
