Cyril Mouawad has been appointed Multi-Property General Manager at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha and Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha
Cyril Mouawad has joined Marriott Marquis City Center Doha and Marriott Executive Apartments City Center Doha as multi-property general manager. In his new role, he will manage the operations of both properties, which have a combined 800 rooms, 12 F&B outlets, conference and banqueting facilities including a fully equipped outdoor catering division, spa and gym.
With over 24 years of professional hospitality experience, Mouawad joined Marriott International in the early part of 2022 as the pre-opening hotel manager for Le Meridien City Center Doha, which opened on October 30, 2022.
Mouawad is no stranger to Doha as he has worked with several different brands in Qatar. After making his mark as DOSM with IHG Hotels & Resorts in Beirut, Bahrain and Doha, he moved up the ranks to hold several roles including hotel manager for InterContinental Doha, pre-opening GM for Staybridge Suites Doha and GM at Holiday Inn Hotel & Residences Kuwait.
He is an alumnus of Notre Dame University and graduated in Business Administration and Economics with Specialisation in Hotel Management and Tourism.
