Amritaksha Chatterjee has been appointed as Director of Revenue at Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi

Shangri-La has a new director of revenue. Amritaksha Chatterjee has been chosen for the role.

His previous posts in the Shangri-La include Shangri-La Colombo and Hambantota in Sri Lanka as well as Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah, Muscat where he worked in the same capacity. His past roles have seen him set up pricing strategies across all travel segments and assist with revenue optimisation for catering and group business.

Chatterjee also had a recent stint in the Shangri-La MEIA regional team supporting hotels in UAE, Oman, Turkey, India, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, and Mauritius. During this time, he helped spearhead efforts to drive new strategic initiatives for existing and emerging markets in the post-pandemic recovery phase.

In his new role at Shangri-La and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi, Chatterjee will be responsible for overseeing the pricing and distribution strategy for the complex with the aim of driving the overall financial performance. He will work closely with sales and marketing to maximise revenue opportunities across all channels.
