Stefan Viard has been named Regional General Manager at Ennismore
One year ago, Ennismore, in a joint venture with Accor, announced the opening of a flagship hotel for the SO/ brand, SO/ Paris, helmed by Stefan Viard as General Manager. This hotel, which officially opened its doors September 2022, has kept its promise in becoming the newest hot destination for travelers in the French capital.
Today, Ennismore is thrilled to announce Stefan Viard's new role as Regional General Manager of the SO/ Brand in Europe. He will remain dedicated to leading SO/ Paris, while also bringing his expertise and support to the different General Managers across the European properties: SO/ Berlin Das Stue, SO/ Vienna and SO/ Saint-Petersburg.
Stefan Viard began his career in 1996 at the Hyatt Regency in Cologne, Germany. From there, he transitioned into food and beverage at the Park Hyatt in Hamburg, stepping into Hyatt Hotels Corporation's luxury brand.
In 2003, Stefan Viard moved to Dubai, "where the vision of luxury offers travelers of the world the experience of extreme quality." He continued to pursue a career in luxury hospitality with a move to Langkawi Island in Malaysia in 2007 as the Director of Food and Beverage for the Andaman Hotel, part of GHM Hotels Group. He subsequently returned to Dubai in 2009 with the opening of The Address Hotels & Resorts, from the EMAAR Hospitality Group. Stefan Viard then became the General Director and co-launched the new lifestyle hotel brand, Vida. This experience culminated in opening the Me by Melia hotel, an architectural marvel and true work of art by Zaha Hadid.
As Regional General Manager of the SO/ brand in Europe, Stefan Viard is poised to realize a new dream: an ambitious project to create, with his team, a hospitality experience that stretches far into the future and meets the evolving needs of contemporary lifestyle and travel communities.
