Terra Orndorff has been appointed as Director of Wellness at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort announces the appointment of Terra Orndorff as the new director of wellness for its recently renovated luxury spa. With extensive experience in the spa industry, Orndorff brings a new level of expertise to the resort's award-winning spa, overseeing and implementing a comprehensive wellness program that promotes the physical and mental well-being of guests. She will also lead a team of wellness professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Orndorff brings over 20 years of wellness experience within the hospitality industry. Beginning her career at Valeria Salon Spa as a manager and esthetician, Orndorff has since headed the wellness departments at Embassy Suites Golf Resort & Spa in Concord, North Carolina, The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa and JW Marriot Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa. Aside from her previous positions, she also worked as the marketing and social media manager at Embassy Suites, Brand Champion for The Heavenly Spa by Westin brand, and Spa Advisory Council member for the Americas at Marriott International.
Most recently, Orndorff served as the Director of Spa & Resort Retail at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek, where she successfully campaigned for and implemented the launch of a new state of-the-art aesthetic system to increase overall client satisfaction and drove a 60% revenue increase during the first full year of the pandemic. In addition to her roles in wellness and hospitality, Orndorff was awarded back-to-back StarVoice awards for Best in Class at Starwood Hotels. She has also served as a member of the Cabarrus County Chamber of Commerce and as a volunteer for the International Spa Association.
