Kushan Perera has been appointed as Executive Chef at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi
Executive chef Perera brings a wealth of expertise to the team, with a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Marriott International.
Perera has held pivotal roles at luxury establishments, primarily in the UAE.
His most recent position was executive sous chef at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and previous accolades include being vice president at The Emirates Culinary Guild and winning silver and bronze medals at Emirates Salon Culinary competitions. In 2019, he also achieved the Guinness World Record for Most Varieties of Desserts on Display in Abu Dhabi.
