Stephan Fuchs has been appointed as General Manager at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Resort and Spa
InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa has appointed a new general manager.
Joining from Ayana Resort and Spa Bali, German Stephan Fuchs, brings over 25 years of international luxury hotel management and operations expertise.
His career path includes stints with renowned luxury brands, including The Ritz-Carlton, Kempinski Hotels, and Jumeirah Group.
Fuchs will be well known in Abu Dhabi as the GM at Jumeirah Emirates Towers (now Conrad Abu Dhabi). He also worked as executive assistant manager food and beverage at Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi, and the director of food and beverage at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
He has also overseen diverse catering projects spanning Europe, including Expo 1998 in Lisbon, the arrangement of official government functions for the Federal Republic of Germany, and the orchestration of Formula 1 Grand Prix events across many circuits.
Fuchs is known for his ability to galvanise multicultural teams and his dedication and penchant for innovation, says IHG.
