The new hire brings in an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry.
Firas Sharrouf has been appointed as the new general manager of Fairmont Bab Al Bahr. Sharrouf brings in 20 years of industry experience and a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics within the luxury hospitality sector.
Sharrouf's journey in the realm of hospitality began in Beirut, Lebanon, where he cultivated his skills in junior managerial roles. He later ventured into the Dubai hospitality landscape, working with Jumeirah Group, Shangri-La, and Address Hotels. Sharrouf played crucial roles in various luxury five-star properties, overseeing critical operations and spearheading numerous successful ventures.
He also worked with Accor Group as director of operations and later assumed the role of interim general manager at Fairmont Marina Hotel and Residences in Abu Dhabi. His adept project management skills facilitated the successful inauguration of the Fairmont Residences, alongside overseeing the acquisition of two premium properties in Qatar and Bahrain.
He was recently the general manager at Sofitel Abu Dhabi where he implemented strategic initiatives that solidified the hotel's position as a premier destination in Abu Dhabi.
