Candy Capital, the privately held family office of renowned British real estate developer Nick Candy, has appointed Anthony Costa as Head of Hospitality and Lifestyle. In his new role, Anthony will spearhead the development of the company's innovative new lifestyle and hospitality division.
Anthony Costa is a distinguished luxury hotel professional with over 30 years of experience driving financial performance, brand awareness, and talent engagement for leading global operators. Named in Forbes' Top 100 Travel & Tourism Leaders 2023, Anthony brings a profound understanding of hotel operations and luxury brand-building to his new role.
Anthony has formerly worked with Four Seasons and held positions as General Manager at Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, and Mandarin Oriental Tokyo. Anthony's latter experience spans leadership positions at prestigious hospitality brands including Wynn Palace, the Burj Al Arab at Jumeirah Group as Regional Vice President and most recently Caesars Palace Dubai, serving as Regional President. Well regarded and respected in the industry, properties under Anthony's leadership have consistently been Forbes Five-Star rated and quality-driven.
Nick Candy, a prominent figure in luxury real estate, co-founded renowned and leading interior design firm Candy & Candy (now Candy London) in 1999. His entrepreneurial journey began with the purchase of a one-bedroom flat in Earls Court in 1995, with a £6,000 loan from his grandmother. The company gained international acclaim for its iconic One Hyde Park development, which set unparalleled new standards in luxury design and living.
Anthony will work closely with the Candy Capital leadership team across several substantial luxury real estate projects in collaboration with strategic joint venture partners across residential, luxury hotels, hospitality, lifestyle, and retail sectors on a global scale, with a particular focus on the Middle East.
