Tim Cordon has been appointed as COO Middle East, Africa and South East Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group

Tim Cordon's role at Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has been broadened to encompass the South East Asia Pacific (SEAP) region in addition to his existing responsibilities in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Cordon, who operates out of Dubai, has been a key figure in RHG's growth and success in the MEA region. His new role aims to replicate this success in the SEAP region, which currently includes over 60 hotels in operation or in development.

During his tenure, the MEA region witnessed the opening of 45 hotels in three years. Cordon expressed enthusiasm about his expanded role, emphasizing his team's collective expertise and the promising growth opportunities in the SEAP region. He aims to build on the strong foundation established in the MEA region and sees significant potential for Radisson in SEAP.

Dubai plays a crucial role in Radisson's operations, serving as a central hub. Cordon's leadership team in Dubai, which includes key departments such as HR, F&B, revenue, and procurement, will now also focus on the SEAP region. The city's importance was underscored by hosting RHG's recent annual general manager meeting, attended by over 200 general managers and leaders from the Middle East, Africa, and Europe, to discuss the Group's strategy for 2024.

RHG has acknowledged Dubai's central role in their strategic and operational planning, highlighted by the expansion of Cordon's Dubai-based office to support the region's rapid growth. This development underlines Dubai's significance in driving RHG's future ambitions.
