Fairmont Bab Al Bahr has appointed Radi Ali Baz as director of sales and marketing. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Baz began his journey in hospitality in 2003 in Egypt.

His career expanded internationally when he entered Dubai's hospitality sector, working for the likes of Radisson Blu and Shangri-La.

A pivotal moment in Baz's career came when he was director of sales and marketing at Sofitel Corniche Abu Dhabi. Here, he led the sales and marketing team, implementing effective strategies that kept the hotel competitive and fostered essential relationships with stakeholders.

His leadership was evident in the successful launch of new dining outlets and the rebranding of existing ones. Under his guidance, the hotel expanded its corporate, leisure, and MICE portfolios, consistently surpassing individual and team targets.

Baz aims to employ a dynamic and strategic approach to enhance the hotel's position in the luxury hospitality market. Focusing on corporate, leisure, and MICE sales, he intends to establish the hotel as a preferred venue and maximise revenue through innovative pricing strategies.
