Shangri La Jeddah has appointed Tobias Ernst as director of operations. With extensive experience in international hotel management spanning the Far East to the Middle East, Ernst brings a wealth of familiarity with the Shangri-La brand.
His career in hospitality includes leadership roles at various Shangri-La properties in China, including Island Shangri-La Hong Kong, Shangri-La Dalian, Shangri-La Changchun, Shangri-La Haikou in Hainan, as well as the flagship Shangri-La Singapore.
Ernst joins the executive team at Shangri La Jeddah with over two decades of leadership in luxury hospitality, Tobias' extensive experience promises to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the hotel's reputation for exceptional service and practices.
In his new capacity, Ernst will lead Shangri-La Jeddah's operational initiatives, implementing strategic plans to enhance efficiency, elevate guest experiences, and further solidify the hotel's dynamic reputation in the luxury hospitality industry.
