Luigi Vespero has been appointed as Cluster Director of Food & Beverage at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Dubai, Ajman and Fujairah

Luigi Vespero has joined Fairmont Hotels and Resorts as cluster director of food and beverage.

He will oversee all aspects of the culinary operations across Fairmont Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road, as well as the Ajman and Fujairah properties.

Vespero's 25-year career has seen him working at Gordon Ramsay Holdings in London, where he served as senior chef de partie, moving to Dubai to take up roales such as cluster head chef at Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

His most recent roles include director of F&B and culinary operations at Waldorf Astoria DIFC and group director of F&B at Gargash Group in 2023, overseeing a diverse portfolio of brands across the UAE and UK, including The Artisan, Weslodge Saloon, Hotel Cartagena and Farzi.

Vespero is a regular face at the Caterer Middle East and Hotelier Middle East Awards, and has been recognised in the Executive Chef Power List, too.
