Sasindu Don has been promoted to Financial Controller at Sofitel Dubai Downtown
Sofitel Dubai Downtown has announced the promotion of Sasindu Don to financial controller. He was previously financial manager.
Don's career in the hotel industry has spanned 15 years, including nine years at Sofitel Dubai Downtown.
He began his journey with Sofitel Dubai Downtown in 2015 as an income auditor. He advanced through roles such as general accountant, financial accountant, and most recently, finance manager.
The hotel's general manager, Mohamed Hawwam, said that Don's promotion was well deserved.
Don describes himself as a results-driven finance professional, skilled in providing key financial data and support for important business decisions.
Don has a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and an MBA from the Jaipur National University. He also trained with PwC in Sri Lanka.
