Sietze Hoefnagel has been appointed as Director of Operations at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort

Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort has announced the appointment of Sietze Hoefnagel as its new director of operations. Hoefnagel has over 15 years of international hospitality experience spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, that he brings to the new role at the resort.

In his new role, Hoefnagel will oversee daily operations that provide quality guest experiences, while also focusing on team development, operational efficiency, and innovative service delivery.

Most recently, Hoefnagel occupied the role as hotel manager at Mondrian Singapore Duxton. During this time, he managed large teams and delivered superior guest experiences that earned the hotel enhanced guest satisfaction scores and an improved online reputation.

Hoefnagel originally gained a Master's Degree in operations management from the University of Manchester, and proceeded to begin his career in Cairo with Sofitel. Following this, he advanced to other prestigious roles with luxury brands like W Hotels and Mondrian.

He successfully took on pre-opening roles in South Korea and Ibiza before his most recent role in Singapore. His journey has been defined by a commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction, driving revenue growth, optimising operations and driving community collaborations.

Sietze Hoefnagel is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague – Class of 2006.
