With over two decades of expertise in hotel operations, business development, and revenue management, Sumit has consistently demonstrated strategic leadership and a passion for operational excellence.
Sumit has been an integral part of Novotel and ibis Deira Creekside Dubai since 2021, serving as Hotel Manager where he successfully led hotel operations and guided the commercial team to new heights. His tenure saw a remarkable 16% increase in overall revenue, consistent ARI and RGI leadership, and strengthened market positioning for both properties.
Beginning his career in front office operations and revenue management across international brands such as InterContinental, Grand Hyatt, and Rotana, Sumit advanced into senior leadership roles, including Cluster Director of Revenue Management Accor Shared Services. There, he managed a portfolio of seven hotels, delivering sustained RGI growth and elevating online revenue contributions significantly. His robust background in revenue strategy has been instrumental in driving profitable business mix transformations and enhancing brand loyalty across properties.
