Archana Kawatra has been appointed as Commercial Director at Grand Millennium Dubai

Grand Millennium Hotel Dubai has named Archana Kawatra as its new commercial director. Kawatra brings with her nearly three decades of experience across international markets, having held leadership roles in India, the UAE, Australia, and New Zealand with major hospitality brands such as Accor, Rotana, Hyatt, Taj, and Stamford Hotels & Resorts.

In her most recent role as area director of sales for Stamford Hotels in Australia, she played a pivotal role in driving revenue across a diverse portfolio of city and resort properties. Prior to that, she served as area director of sales - MICE for Rotana Hotels, overseeing commercial strategies for 20 hotels across Dubai and the Northern Emirates. During her tenure, she was instrumental in establishing Rotana's MICE division and building strong ties with corporate clients and destination management companies.

Her deep expertise in corporate sales, MICE, CRM and revenue optimisation is expected to further strengthen Grand Millennium's commercial operations.

Kawatra holds a master's degree in applied management and a graduate diploma in tourism management. As commercial director, she will lead the hotel's sales division and collaborate with the executive team to align revenue and marketing strategies with Grand Millennium's broader commercial goals.
