His responsibilities will include driving portfolio growth, implementing advanced business development tools, overseeing contract negotiations, and cultivating strong relationships with owners, investors, and industry stakeholders.Wietig brings nearly 20 years of diverse experience spanning enterprise sales, marketing, real estate development, and asset management across hospitality, mixed-use, industrial, and multi-family sectors. Prior to joining Essex, he served as director of business development with a Buffalo, NY-based company with a diversified real estate portfolio. He holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo, with concentrations in marketing and consulting, and a Bachelor of Music from SUNY Fredonia.
