Aly El-Bassuni has been named SVP, managed hotels division at Choice Hotels International, Inc.
In this role, El-Bassuni will oversee the strategy, operations and continued momentum of the company's managed hotel properties, focusing on helping maximize performance, enhancing guest experiences and driving long-term, sustainable growth.
El-Bassuni brings more than three decades of hospitality leadership to Choice Hotels, with a career spanning operations, franchising and brand management. Most recently, he served as president, operations, owner & brand relations at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he led operations support services to drive owner satisfaction, retention and business growth. He has also held senior roles at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Radisson Hotel Group Americas, overseeing operations and strategic initiatives to strengthen owner relations, quality assurance, franchise services and hotel openings, among other responsibilities.
