Andrew Insch has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Aethos Hotels
Aethos, Europe's fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality brand, has appointed Andrew Insch as Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its integrated hotel and private members' club platform across Europe and beyond. The appointment reinforces Aethos's focus on building a brand defined by community, creativity and operational excellence across both city and retreat destinations.
Insch joins with more than 20 years of finance leadership experience across private equity-backed hospitality, real estate and consumer businesses. As CFO, he will lead Aethos financial strategy, planning, governance and performance management, with a particular focus on building the infrastructure to support the next phase of growth. He most recently served as Finance Director at The Chesterford Group and previously held senior roles at St Modwen, iQ Student Accommodation (Blackstone) and Casual Dining Group (KKR).
Andrew Insch is a CIMA-qualified finance leader with more than 20 years of experience across private equity-backed and founder-led businesses in hospitality, real estate and consumer sectors. He has built a career leading complex, multi-site organisations through periods of transformation, growth and operational change. His expertise spans strategic planning, financial governance and large-scale systems transformation, with a focus on aligning financial infrastructure with long-term value creation. He has held senior leadership roles at The Chesterford Group, St Modwen and iQ Student Accommodation (Blackstone), as well as FP&A Director at Casual Dining Group (KKR), where he led financial restructuring during the pandemic.
Aethos currently operates destinations and private members' clubs in Ericeira, Lisbon, London, Mallorca, Milan, Monterosa, Saragano and Sardinia, including two distinct locations in Mallorca, with additional openings in development across Europe.
