Krishna Paliwal has been appointed as President, Midscale Extended-Stay at G6 Hospitality, LLC

G6 Hospitality, parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6, has appointed Krishna Paliwal as president of midscale extended-stay. In the role, he will guide the company’s strategy for midscale and upper-economy extended-stay brands, focusing on brand development, growth initiatives, and improvements to the owner and guest experience.

Paliwal brings more than 20 years of hospitality leadership experience, including senior roles at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, he served as president of La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham and helped support the launch and growth of Echo Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham through his work in architecture, design, and construction.

G6 sees midscale extended-stay as a strong growth opportunity, supported by franchisee interest and continued resilience in the U.S. midscale hotel segment. Ankit Tandon, vice chairman of G6 Hospitality, said Paliwal’s track record of aligning design, operations, development, and brand strategy makes him well suited to lead the company’s expansion into the segment.
