A career spanning consumer goods, luxury and hospitality
Geoffray Maugin brings more than twenty-five years of international experience at the crossroads of strategic marketing, customer experience and the development of premium and luxury brands. He began his career at Coca-Cola before joining LVMH’s Moët Hennessy division, where he spent almost ten years in the United Kingdom working on Dom Pérignon and Moët & Chandon, before taking on international roles at the company’s headquarters.
In 2006, he joined Accor, where he spent more than fifteen years in senior marketing and strategy roles. He played an important part in the relaunch of Pullman, the repositioning of Sofitel in the luxury segment and the redeployment of the Novotel model. As Senior Vice President Customer Experience and Business Performance, he led customer experience and performance strategy for more than 5,000 hotels and contributed to the structuring of a portfolio including Raffles, Fairmont, Orient Express, Pullman, Novotel, SO/, Mama Shelter and Ibis.
In 2022, he founded E-Morphoz, a consultancy dedicated to the sustainable transformation of premium and luxury brands. Through the firm, he worked with several international brands and contributed to the development of Origins Lodge, a luxury eco-lodge project in Costa Rica. He joined Hyatt in February 2026, relocating from Zurich.
