Guido Fredrich has been appointed as Vice President Development Luxury and Lifestyle for EAME at Hyatt Hotels Corporation

The appointment comes as Hyatt prepares further luxury and lifestyle openings across the region.

Hyatt appointed Guido Fredrich as vice president, development luxury and lifestyle for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with responsibility for growing the group’s Luxury and Lifestyle portfolios across the region.

Fredrich will oversee development for brands including Park Hyatt, Alila, Andaz, Thompson and The Standard as Hyatt continues to expand across EAME.

Recent additions to the portfolio include Andaz Lisbon and Miraval the Red Sea. Further openings expected before the end of 2026 include Thompson Seville, Thompson Rome and The Standard Lisbon.

Fredrich brings more than 15 years of experience across hospitality development and real estate. He previously held a senior development role at Hyatt, where he oversaw more than 15 market entries across several brands.

Before returning to Hyatt, Fredrich served as chief development officer at Corinthia Hotels. In the role, he led the expansion of the Corinthia brand globally, securing market entries and supporting its development across key markets.

Prior to Corinthia Hotels, he was head of asset strategy at Signa.

Hyatt’s Luxury and Lifestyle portfolios currently span 14 brands and comprise more than 70 hotels and 11,000 rooms across EAME.
