Fadeel Wehbe has been appointed as Managing Director at Accor
Accor announces the appointment of Fadeel Wehbe as Managing Director for Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expanding his regional leadership responsibilities across several of the Group’s luxury brands.
Wehbe will assume the Kingdom-wide mandate alongside his continued role as Managing Director of Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Centre, supporting the strategic direction, development and performance of the aforementioned brands across Saudi Arabia. This includes the opening of Sofitel Jabal Omar Makkah later this year, as well as the ongoing development of Abraj Omar Hotel & Residences Makkah – MGallery Collection and Sofitel Serviced Residences Riyadh, both slated for 2029.
The expanded appointment comes at a significant period for Saudi Arabia’s hospitality sector, as the Kingdom continues to attract international investment, develop new tourism destinations and strengthen its position within the global luxury travel landscape.
In his expanded capacity, Wehbe will work closely with hotel leadership teams, owners and partners across the Kingdom, with a focus on strengthening brand positioning, operational performance and guest experience while ensuring each property maintains the individual identity and character of its respective brand.
The appointment further reflects Accor’s commitment to strengthening its leadership team in the Kingdom and supporting the continued development of its industry leading brand portfolio in Saudi Arabia.
