Marco Gilardi has been appointed as Managing Director Hospitality at Starhotels Group
Starhotels is strengthening its organisation to support the Group’s growth and consolidate its position in the high-end hospitality market, with Marco Gilardi joining as Managing Director Hospitality.
The appointment supports a strategy that combines a stronger position in the upper end of the market with efficient management, investment in the hotel portfolio and portfolio growth, with the aim of increasing the value and profitability of each hotel.
Gilardi joins from Minor Hotels Europe & Americas, where he served as Senior Vice President Operations Italy. He brings more than twenty years of international hospitality experience, spanning the upper-upscale and luxury segments, as well as expertise in operations and business development. In his new role, he will accelerate the Group’s growth, build on the progress already made, and empower its people while promoting a culture of hospitality centred on quality and excellence. He will help strengthen the positioning of the hotels and support sustainable development, with a focus on relationships and the guest experience.
