Merrick P. Dresnin

Merrick Dresnin is a Human Resources executive with nearly three decades of experience leading organizations through growth, change, and operational complexity. Educated in the law, he brings a practical, business-focused approach to Human Resources, with a consistent emphasis on culture as a driver of execution, accountability, and performance.

He currently serves as Chief People Services Officer at Cote Hospitality, overseeing the Human Resources and People Services function for a growing hospitality organization operating in Minnesota and Arizona.

In this role, he leads culture, leadership development, workforce planning, and labor and employment compliance, with a focus on aligning people practices to business goals and guest outcomes.

Under his leadership, Tanque Verde Ranch, Cote Hospitality’s primary Arizona operation, has earned continued Top Workplace recognition at both regional and national levels, reflecting measurable improvements in engagement, leadership effectiveness, and retention.

Mr. Dresnin has held senior Human Resources roles with Hyatt Hotel Corporation, Rivers Casino, and United Service Companies, and supported the opening of Trump International Hotel, Washington, DC.

He is also an active writer, speaker, and educator, and has taught and advised at Kendall College, DePaul University, and Georgetown University.
