Nadeen El Maalouf, MBA

Nadeen El Maalouf is a Senior Research Fellow & Sector Lead — AI & Technology at the Work–Play Nexus, where she works closely with Dr. Jungho Suh on research and applied projects in marketing, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies. She contributes to literature development, experimental design, data analytics, and research communication for both academic and industry-facing initiatives.

Nadeen recently earned her Global STEM MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Her multidisciplinary background spans engineering, digital marketing, data analytics, and consulting, which allows her to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.

Prior to her academic work at GW, Nadeen led data-driven digital strategy initiatives for global brands and consulting projects in sectors including luxury beauty, hospitality, renewable energy, and the public sector. She began her career in the NGO sector in crisis management before transitioning into data strategy and digital marketing. In Dubai, she led digital initiatives for L’Oréal’s luxury beauty brands, collaborating with partners such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat. She also planned and executed a digital transformation project for a solar energy company, streamlining operations and boosting efficiency.

At GW, Nadeen is deeply involved in applied learning and leadership. She serves as the Executive Vice President of the Forté Board, led a Consulting Abroad Project (CAP) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) exploring AI integration in the UAE public sector, and completed a consulting project in Argentina with Hilton Hotels, reimagining their fine dining experience.
