Vail Resorts Inc.'s (MTN) fiscal fourth-quarter results weakened on slumping real-estate sales. But the company expressed optimism for the coming ski season, saying sales are running 15% ahead of last year, as the largest U.S. ski-resort operator projected earnings for the new year above analysts' expectations - $25 million to $35 million compared with the $16.6 million average estimate of analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters.
