Booking.com is turning off its BookingSuite array of tools and services for accommodation providers.

The company says the WebDirect, BookingButton, RateIntelligence and ChoicePro products will be discontinued starting on November 30 of this year.

The app store element of the product will remain, but Booking.com will end support for the platforms because it wants to "continue to deploy resources toward our core business and invest in our long-term strategy."

An official says: "We remain committed to being a global leader in travel, focused on growing our core accommodations business and delivering on our long-term strategy to bring more personalized products and experiences to our customers across every part of their travel journey.

"We are supporting any impacted partners through this transition, and continue to do everything we can to secure and deliver customers to all our property partners, as it becomes possible for travelers to experience the world again."

BookingSuite began when Booking.com parent company Booking Holdings made a string of acquisitions in 2014 and 2015.
