Peachtree Group (“Peachtree”) has announced a long-term partnership with Southfield, Michigan-based Group 10 Management (“Group 10”), expanding its managed portfolio with 14 new hotels totaling 1,648 rooms. This milestone growth pushes Peachtree's total managed operations beyond 100 hotels and solidifies its position as a leading third-party hotel manager. The properties are primarily Marriott, Hilton and IHG-branded hotels and are predominantly located in the metro Detroit area.

Power for the third consecutive year, has been selected by Lennox Capital Partners to manage two distinctive properties: The Highland Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton in Dallas, Texas, and The Westin St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri.
Griffin Hotel Management LLC, a hospitality company spanning multiple generations, has merged into Meyer Jabara Hotels. Effective immediately, Griffin will transition 14 assets to the MJH umbrella, and when combined with other deals currently in the 2024 pipeline, the hotel ownership and management company will reach 50 hotels by Q1 2025. Griffin executives James Kirkland and Jay Fishman are taking on new roles at Meyer Jabara Hotels. Kirkland, Griffin CEO, is assuming the role of Senior VP of Operations – Western Region and will oversee that region from Austin, Texas. Fishman, the majority owner of Griffin, will take on a business development role with MJH based out of the Chicago area.

AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) is deeply disappointed by the New York City Council’s decision to pass the Safe Hotels Act on Wednesday, October 23, despite recent revisions. While the exemption for hotels with fewer than 100 rooms offers relief to some, AAHOA remains concerned about the adverse effects of this legislation on the broader hotel industry, particularly minority-owned businesses. The revisions fail to address industry leaders’ critical concerns throughout the legislative process.
The International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) has named María Quintero of HVS Middle East & Africa as the recipient of the annual Lori Raleigh Award for Emerging Excellence in Hospitality Consulting.
