Dr. Mark Warner is the Director of Graduate Programs for the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Travel Administration at New York University. Dr. Warner has six years of teaching, administration and curriculum development experience in the United States Air Force at Air University and eight years of teaching and department/school administrative experience at the University of New Haven. He has been a department chairperson, interim and acting dean and graduate coordinator in hospitality and tourism. Dr. Warner has taught in Switzerland and has made presentations at national CHRIE, HITEC, NYU and HFTP conferences. He earned his Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) designation from the Educational Institute of American Hotel and Motel Association. He has worked in all areas of the hospitality field. He holds bachelor degrees from Monmouth College (Illinois) in economic/business and Cornell University in hotel administration, a master's degree from the State University of New York in human resources, and a doctorate form the University of Alabama in public administration.
