Dan Bornholdt, President and co-founder of Green Suites International, has over 19 years of experience in environmental issues and equipment. As an innovative entrepreneur he has made Green Suites International the preeminent provider of environmentally sound products and services to hotels worldwide. The company was founded in 1997 as Ecorp, Inc., a unique and dynamic environmental marketing and distribution company.
While still a student at the University of California at Berkeley, Dan founded Bornholdt Transportation, Inc. in 1979, specializing in the expedited handling and transport of environmentally unsafe materials. After selling this company in early 1991, Dan went on to found Risk Assessment Services, an environmental consulting company, where he utilized his expertise in environmental issues to provide his clients with profitable solutions to corporate environmental problems.
Dan is an active member of the Association of Environmental Professionals. He has served on the AH & LA's Engineering Committee for the past 4 years.
Companies collectively spend billions to become more environmental, more "green". They are proactively protecting the global ecology as well as the personal environments of individuals and employees. Likewise, the environment industry is a burgeoning one whose message is poorly presented and often misunderstood by business. The number and quality of environmental products and services have exploded because of consumer demand, aided by new technologies. This explosion has created further confusion for interested commercial buyers. Both commerce and the environmental companies have long sought distribution channels to source and supply such products.
