GDI's IntrigueSM Multimedia System is a digital, interactive information and entertainment system that delivers true digital video-on-demand with DVD functionality and high-speed Internet access through televisions and laptop computers. Intrigue also offers video games, e-mail service, eCommerce, on-line advertising, electronic concierge services, video checkout, and other real-time interactive services. The Intrigue platform is designed to remain state-of-the-art in this constantly changing world of technology. Services such as video conferencing, television commerce, and interactive television are only a few of the possible future applications. Initial target markets are hotels, time-shares, private residential communities, and railways.
GDI has been installing its systems in hotels worldwide for nearly two years. It has more than 30 installations across the United States in such locations as New York City, Miami Beach, Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Denver, and San Diego .International deployments include Norway and Canada, with others planned shortly in Asia and Europe.
The Intrigue system functions over Category 5 (CAT 5) or Category 3 (CAT 3) wiring and ordinary phone lines, using several Digital Subscriber Line (VDSL) and Ethernet solutions. With input from existing channel partners, hotels, and hotel guests, GDI is launching a new Intrigue Interactive Guest Portal in the summer of 2002. The new interface is a quantum leap in technology, providing guests with up to three streaming media windows of information and entertainment, a fully integrated text and graphic menu interface to enable effortless navigation by the guest --and for the hotelier, multiple locations for promotion of services.

General Dynamics
Randy Sablich, Director - Commercial Business Development, General Dynamics Interactive, has responsibility for all Business Development, Marketing and Sales activities for the commercial pursuits of General Dynamics Interactive, and General Dynamics C4 Systems.
Sablich has had varied Business Development responsibilities in several of General Dynamics commercial pursuits and Dept. of Defense (DoD) thrusts, as well as general management positions in other high technology companies in both the DoD and commercial markets.
Sablich holds a BSME from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He has presented at numerous national symposia on information technology, hospitality futures, and on business development processes.
