The SABRE Group Introduces Revenue Management Application for the Hospitality Industry at HITEC 98

LOS ANGELES - As part of its strategy for growth in the hospitality market segment, The SABRE Group TSG today announced the debut of RESERVE MAXTM, a hotel analysis and revenue planning system designed exclusively for the hospitality industry. RESERVE MAX, a new application in The SABRE Group's product portfolio, streamlines staff and budget planning while optimizing rates and revenue at a hotel property. RESERVE MAX will be demonstrated at The SABRE Group's booth # 619 at the HITEC Trade Show from June 16 to June 18.

RESERVE MAX applies established formulas to manage supply and demand, length-of-stay forecasting, group sales opportunities, critical date processing and other revenue-related variables. The application is designed with a simple graphical user interface to facilitate its usage.

The system forecasts demand based on historical trends, seasonal patterns, reservation holding counts, and holidays. Forecasts are automatically adjusted to reflect anticipated walk-ins by guests, length-of-stay patterns and walk-outs.
