Roger Paradis, president and CEO of Passkey.com, said the company is setting records every month in reservations and room revenues generated. He said final figures for April-May will show nearly 48,000 reservations, generating in excess of $20 million in room revenues. Paradis said Passkey.com's rate of growth in reservations and room revenues is "expanding exponentially, more than twice as fast as the growth of other Internet-based travel services" (such as Microsoft(R) Expedia, a free Web site for the general public).
Passkey.com's Convention Housing Network is also growing, with Nashville the latest CVB to sign on for citywide housing, joining Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Detroit, Kansas City and Orlando. In addition, Passkey.com is under contract for specific group events through bureaus in Cleveland, New Orleans and Seattle, and has contracts with independent housing providers working with hotels to manage events in Las Vegas, Panama City (Fla.), San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Cancun.
