Cornell Update - Faculty Appointments and Promotions Announced
Dr. A. Neal Geller '64, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, has announced the appointment of five new members of the Hotel School faculty and the promotion of five others. Joining the faculty are:
- Nick DahlLecturer, Communication
- Abby NashLecturer, Food and Beverage Management
- Tom NohelAssociate Professor, Financial Management
- Craig SnowSenior Lecturer, Communication
- Alex SusskindAssistant Professor, Food and Beverage Management
Most Hotelies will recognize the name of Craig Snow, a former faculty member who has returned to Cornell after directing the managerial communication program at the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. Snow taught at the Hotel School from 1990 to 1993, and was twice honored as Teacher of the Year by the school's freshmen and sophomores.
Geller also welcomed this year's Statler Foundation Visiting Professor, Clive Muir, from New Mexico State University, who is teaching managerial communication.
Faculty promotions include:
- Jack Corgel, to Full Professor
- Giuseppe Pezzotti, to Senior Lecturer
- Gordon Potter, to Associate Professor with Indefinite Tenure
- Rupert Spies, to Senior Lecturer
- Richard Steinacher, to Senior Lecturer
