IXATA.COM Signs Agreement With XTRA On-line Corporation to Give Corporate Travel Managers Significant Management Control Over Hotel Room Bookings

SAN DIEGO / SecurFone America Inc. SFAI, announced that its Internet based, e-commerce subsidiary, IXATA.COM, Inc. (just say I-zay-ta), signed a service and joint marketing agreement with XTRA On-Line Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, IXATA.COM's RFP Express(SM) service will be sold and marketed through XTRA On-Line's product. As a result, corporate travel managers will have direct booking access to their company's preferred hotel programs. Such access will enable corporate travel managers to gain significant management control over hotel room bookings by having the information available to their on-line booking reservation users.

"In addition to giving corporate travel managers the first opportunity to link disparate data sources so that the procurement of corporate hotel contracts can be effectively managed, IXATA and XOL will be closing the loop between the RFP submission process, and actual and projected room requirements, " said Bill Diffenderffer, Chief Executive Officer, XTRA On-Line.

No release date has been announced as to when the full integration of IXATA.COM's and XTRA On-Line's services will be completed.

"We are excited about the opportunity of integrating RFP Express with XTRA On-Line Corporation's services," said Robert Steiner, Executive Vice President, Marketing, IXATA.COM. "This strategic partnership will enable both of our companies to better service and support the needs of our clients. "

"XTRA On-Line Corporation's partnership enhances the credibility of our RFP Express service and enables us to integrate into other corporate services, " said Paul Silverman, Chief Executive Officer, SecurFone and IXATA.COM, Inc. "The ability to deliver detailed, timely and important information immediately into the hands of corporate travel managers and their travelers is the critical success factor for managing a successful corporate travel program. "

By automating the users' RFP business process, and also providing user-friendly Internet access to a sophisticated data warehousing system, RFP Express(SM) provides new capabilities and dramatic cost savings to users.
