Keane Leverages Year 2000 Relationship To Gain New e-Solutions Business
BOSTON, Oct. 6 / Leading IT consulting firm Keane, Inc. KEA today announced a partnership with Newmarket International, Inc. which leverages Keane's e-Solution experience and Newmarket's market leadership in the hospitality industry to develop . is a Web-based service that facilitates prospective business among meeting planners, hotels, sales offices, convention centers, and members of the hospitality industry.
Keane's Northern New England branch office is providing system design and development experience to support Newmarket International's time-critical needs. Keane offers a total business solution to help organizations plan their e-strategies, build applications to leverage the power of the Internet, and manage Web-based architectures.
Keane's e-Solutions service is divided into three phases: e-Strategy, e-Development, and e-Management. e-Development comprises the build portion of Keane's e-Solutions offering and encompasses architectural design, creative content design, Web and application development, legacy integration, implementation, and on-line advertising and brand management.

This newest contract extends Keane's partnership with Newmarket. Earlier this year, Keane provided Year 2000 testing and Business Continuity Planning for Newmarket. Keane is currently identifying mission-critical business risks throughout Newmarket in order to mitigate and reduce those risks which could potentially occur around the first of the new year. The Business Continuity Planning project is expected to be complete by November 1999.
