Equant Provides $30 Million in Equity Funding to STSN

Through STSN's technology the partnership will offer global business travelers an easy, plug-and-play solution to access the Internet and stay connected to their offices while traveling at speeds up to 300 times faster than typical dial-up. Equant plans to fully integrate the STSN solution and make it available to its hotel customers as part of their Hospitality IPNet service being sold by Equant's worldwide sales force.
STSN's easy to use, plug-and-play multiport device enables users to access the Internet, e-mail and virtual private networks without the need to re-configure laptop settings. The user simply plugs in to an STSN access box using a standard Ethernet or USB cable and launches their browser.
STSN offers secure Internet access over existing phone lines without the need to re-wire or modify the existing hotel telecommunications infrastructure. The multiport device eliminates any IP addressing issues and provides a firewall to ensure a secure environment for the user.
