ROCKVILLE, MD - Visual One Systems, a leading software developer for the hospitality industry, has finalized an agreement with Tamar Inns Inc., to install multiple software systems at Tamar's six Orlando properties. Visual One will be installing Property Management System software, Sales and Catering, and Restaurant Point of Sale with an emphasis on large convention management.

The six Tamar properties total nearly 5,000 rooms, making this one of the largest installation agreements in Visual One history. "We are very excited about our partnership with Tamar. Not only does it represent a significant level of business for Visual One but it also will establish our products' reputation of operating in large, convention hotels. For Tamar, our technology will enable all of their central-Florida properties to become integrated and seamlessly managed. We believe this agreement is a true win-win situation for both Tamar and Visual One," according to Dave Burroughs, President of Visual One Systems.

Installation will begin in the Omni Rosen in August 2000. Installation in the remaining five properties will commence after the completion of the Omni. The six Tamar properties to receive the Visual One products include:

Quality Inn Plaza 1020 rooms

Quality Inn International 728 rooms

Clarion Plaza 810 Rooms

Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista 640 rooms

Rodeway Inn 315 rooms

According to the Hotel Business Green Book 2000, Tamar Inns Inc. was ranked as the 27th largest hotel owner/developer, based on total number of rooms managed. Additionally, Visual One's integrated management solutions will be on display at next year's HITEC Hotel Technology Show as the Omni Rosen hosts the influential show in June of 2001.
