Comdial Corporation Moves Corporate Headquarters To Sarasota, Florida
SARASOTA, Fla. / March 27, 2001--Comdial Corporation
The new corporate headquarters will be located at 106 Cattlemen Road. The facility was recently expanded to accommodate the additional office space required for the relocation of Comdial's headquarters and the continuing operations of Key Voice Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
Comdial will continue vital operations in Charlottesville including PBX engineering, support, R&D, test, quality assurance and assembly. The Sarasota facility will continue the engineering, R&D, support, assembly and test for voice processing products, as well as the new DX-80(TM) key system products. Sarasota will now be home for finance, administration, sales, investor relations, corporate communications and information technology.
"We recently sold our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Charlottesville, Virginia, and have finalized our plans to outsource the manufacturing operations for the Company. These two important initiatives enabled the Company to consider new locations for our corporate headquarters. With Comdial's subsidiary Key Voice Technologies already based in Sarasota, it made a great deal of economic sense to locate headquarters here.
