Wyndham Honored with SmartMoney Customer Service Award

SmartMoney magazine has named Wyndham International, Inc. WYN the leading hotel company for providing strong customer service. Winners of the publication's Customer Service Awards -- which were selected from a number of industries including airlines, luxury car manufacturers, wireless phone providers, Internet service providers and rental car companies -- are featured in the July 2001 issue.

The foundation for Wyndham's selection was its guest recognition program, Wyndham ByRequest(SM). Using a state-of-the-art database, guests' preferences are recorded and tracked, from the type of pillows they like to their favorite beverages. During each stay at a Wyndham property, regardless of its location, members are treated to these specific perks according to their guest profiles. Another key point of differentiation for Wyndham was its standard in-room amenities, which include Herman Miller Aeron(R) desk chairs and Serta pillow-top mattresses.
