Hilton Newcastle Gateshead (UK) to Open

Catering to both the business and leisure markets, the hotel features 96 Hilton Executive rooms and incorporates stunning views from the Executive Lounge. Further facilities include ten Hilton Meetings rooms, a banqueting suite that can cater for over 500 guests and a 6,000 sq ft. LivingWell health club. The Windows on the Tyne restaurant and bar both feature panoramic views across the river to Newcastle.

Neumann goes on to say: "Completing a high-quality building such as this to the exacting standards required has been a complex task. Whilst there have been challenges along the way, Hilton is now looking forward to the future success of the hotel."

The Hilton Newcastle Gateshead has been developed by Collingwood Developments and will be owned by Morley Fund Management. Hilton will operate the hotel on a long-term management contract. The project will cost in the region of £30 million.

Hilton UK & Ireland currently operate 78 hotels with over 15,000 bedrooms and 15,000 staff throughout the country.
