Hogatex and Optims Group: 14,6% sales increase is mid-year result

Euro consolidated sales volume: These are the mid-year figures for the French Optims Group, the leading European provider of software solutions for the hospitality and tourism industry. It amounts to a sales increase of 14,6% compared to last year’s mid-term results. Hogatex, which is a wholly owned Optims subsidiary since October 2002, contributed with a sales increase of 17,7% to this turnover.

Richard Kürzl, the Managing Director of Hogatex and a member of the Optims Management Board, commented on the mid-year results, “Needless to say, we are pleased with the positive business development. Our latest version Hogatex 6.1 Multiproperty, which is used by hotel cooperations and hotel chains, started out very well, and has played a large part in this good result.“

The reason for the success of Hogatex 6.1 Multiproperty is based on Richard Kürzl´s strategy of gentle migration. This is a development and update strategy, which allows customers to profit by further development of software solutions without being obliged to a complete reinstallation or new product training. “Our customers highly appreciate that we provide them with modern technologies on the one hand while a the same time protecting their capital investment,“ says Richard Kürzl.
