Scottsdale, AZ | Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS) and a leading software developer, announced that Salad Creations of America has finalized an agreement naming HSI as the exclusive approved point-of-sale system for all Salad Creations franchises, nationwide. Three locations in South Florida of the salad-to-order restaurant chain are currently being installed with HSI's Profit Series POS system.

Salad Creations of America, Inc. was founded by former Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown, Jr., Anthony DeSalvo III, former Director of Operations of a regional Applebee's franchise, and Jeff Levine, former owner and developer of Brother Jimmy's BBQ and Lulu's Bait Shack. The concept plans to expand to 300-500 locations nationally over the next 48 months.

Under the agreement, HSI offers to each Salad Creations franchise 1-3 MICROS Eclipse POS terminals pre-configured with the Profit Series software, a gift card solution and high-speed credit card processing. Each franchise will also receive an installation video and fully customized documentation explaining how to connect the hardware and activate the POS application.
