AUSTIN, TEXAS; Nominations are now being accepted for the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame, HFTP's highest level of recognition in the area of technology. Since the inception of the HFTP International Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame in 1989, 24 individuals have been recognized for their contributions to the hospitality industry at HITEC® (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference), the world's largest hospitality technology conference. At this year's HITEC, June 20-23 at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, Calif., HFTP will continue this trend of excellence by inducting the latest member(s) to this prestigious group of industry professionals. Nominations will be accepted until April 18, 2005.

To be eligible for selection to the Technology Hall of Fame, an individual must have made significant and lasting contributions to hospitality technology in any or all areas of development, application and promotion. A distinguished panel of experts selects members that represent the best in innovation and application of technology, and are leaders in their profession. The 2005 Hall of Fame inductee(s) will be honored in a special presentation at the HITEC 2005 Opening Session on Tuesday, June 21 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
